Terms of Use

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App for your own non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms and the rules of the app store from which you obtained it.

Pro is sold only through the Apple App Store and Google Play, under the terms of the store you buy from. Nothing can be purchased on this website.

Plans and prices.

Pro is offered as a monthly subscription, a yearly subscription with a 7-day free trial, and a one-time lifetime purchase that does not renew. The price, in your local currency, is shown in the store before you confirm the purchase.

Automatic renewal.

Monthly and yearly subscriptions renew automatically for the same period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

Free trial.

The yearly subscription can start with a 7-day free trial. The store decides who is eligible, for example whether you have already used a trial. Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, it converts into a paid yearly subscription.

Managing and cancelling.

You manage and cancel subscriptions in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Uninstalling the App does not cancel a subscription.

Refunds.

Refunds are requested from the store you bought from, and Apple or Google decides them under its own refund policies.

Restoring purchases.

Your Pro entitlement is tied to the App Store or Google Play account used to buy it, not to a device. After reinstalling the App or changing phone, use "Restore purchases" in the App while signed in to the same store account.

Price changes.

We may change Pro prices. The store notifies you of a price change before it applies to your subscription.

The App provides information about food products, additives, halal status, and nutrition for general informational purposes only . Product and additive data comes largely from Open Food Facts and other third parties and may be incomplete, outdated, or inaccurate. Halal classifications and health or dietary indications are not a substitute for professional medical, nutritional, or religious advice. You rely on the information in the App at your own risk.

We do not issue fatwas. The halal verdict is only a suggestion, and the final decision is yours. We do not endorse any organisation, manufacturer or ideology.

When an additive is produced in a non-Muslim country without a halal certificate, the App classifies it as follows:

• Halal: its origin is always vegetarian.
• Doubtful: it can be of vegetarian, animal or alcohol origin.
• Haram: its origin is always animal or alcohol.
• Unknown: its origin is unknown.

Always verify the ingredients and any certification on the product packaging, and consult a qualified professional or religious authority where appropriate.

Where product data in the App comes from Open Food Facts, it is made available under the Open Database License (ODbL). Offline product packs are redistributions of that data under the same licence, with attribution to Open Food Facts.

The App, its name, logo, and original content are owned by Tag'In Tech and protected by applicable laws. Third-party data, trademarks, and content remain the property of their respective owners.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tag'In Tech shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss arising from your use of, or reliance on, the App or the information it provides. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Tunisia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence apply.
